Tiki Drums has been running drum building courses since last summer, we offer weekend courses where you can learn how to build a professional level snare drum from start to finish. You will do all the work from choosing the size and depth of shell to creating bearing edges and applying hardware. Finishing off with tuning it and getting to play it in a studio before taking it home.  Preston Prince is one of the UK's most knowledgable drum builders and restorers and he will be on hand to guide you through the entire process.

This course is the first of its kind and offers you the chance to really learn and understand what makes a beautiful sounding snare drum. You will learn about bearing edges and woods and creating a sound that's right for you. The groups are kept small so that you have all the assistance that you require.

Tiki Drums central location makes it an easy location to get to with three train stations close by, also its not far from the A27 and parking is easy close to the workshop.

There are plenty of places to stay as well as enjoy some of the night life Brighton has to offer.
